Ian and Auggie Each Net Two Goals on Opening Day of the 2021 Soccer Season

SUNNYVALE – The 2021 soccer season is finally here. The 2020 season was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In the first game of the season, the Green Goblins played against the Blue team.
Ian, wearing #25 for the Green Goblins, started the game on the bench. Halfway through the first half, he entered the game as a defensive back. Ian played the 2nd half as one of the two forwards. The coach’s plan for the season is to allow all the players to play different positions.
As the second half began, Green Goblins was trailing 1-4. As a forward, Ian scored two goals to help spark a comeback. Eventually the game was tied 4-4. Auggie also scored two goals.
